📍 Alfreton, Derbyshire | ⏰ 25 hours per week (5 hours per day, Mon–Fri)

Due to an internal promotion, the following part-time role is now available.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our busy Finance team. This part-time role covers both purchase and sales ledger duties, including invoice processing, reconciliations, payment runs, and supporting daily invoicing tasks.

What you’ll do:

• Manage purchase ledger from end-to-end (invoices, approvals, payments, reconciliations).
• Support sales ledger tasks including processing invoices and picking notes.
• Assist with filing and provide general finance admin support.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in accounts administration (purchase/sales ledger).
• Knowledge of Sage (or similar software) desirable.
• Strong accuracy, organisation, and MS Office skills.

As we maximise our extensive product range to meet demand, a rare vacancy has arisen for a highly motivated, career-minded team player to shape the future of the company through the nurture and expansion of our dedicated Outdoor Living sector.

Working alongside our experienced head office-based trade team, as a Sales Executive at Permaroof UK you’ll play a key role in futureproofing our thriving business, generating leads and actively seeking new customers, whilst efficiently managing and monitoring established client relationships.

Adopting a growing portfolio of artificial grass and steel frame customers, and assisting the busy roofing sales team when needed, you’ll be responsible for issuing quotes, processing orders, offering technical advice and handling everyday queries in person, over the phone and via email.

Through on-the-job mentoring, practical training and the ongoing support of experienced colleagues, you’ll fully familiarise yourself with Permaroof products and practice, enabling confident, competent interaction with potential leads, prospective customers and long-standing clients across the board.

Desirable Attributes:

• Proven track record in sales or a stand-out passion to succeed in a sales-based environment
• The ability to drive new business, owning the process from lead generation to close of sale
• Excellent people skills with a desire to deliver exemplary customer care
• Self-motivated with strong communication and negotiation skills
• A passion to actively sell and achieve targets whilst ensuring customer satisfaction
• Team player with the ability to work on initiative, taking ownership of your own success
• Willingness to learn our sales system, product database and infrastructure
• Confident, polite telephone manner
• Computer literate
• Prior sales / account management / industry experience, advantageous
• The ability to work under pressure
• Able to commute to Alfreton, Derbyshire (essential)
