CIMA-qualified since 2004, Sarah brings over 20 years of senior financial expertise to the PermaRoof ranks, implemented with an honest, pragmatic and proactive approach.

Committed to delivering clear, effective financial solutions while building strong relationships with colleagues and external partners alike, Sarah is an accomplished multi-tasker who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Outside of work, she enjoys a busy family life, socialising with friends and holidaying abroad, always keen to explore new cultures, experiences and cuisines.

Head of Operations

Sam Stephens is the Head of Operations at PermaRoof UK, responsible for safety, warehousing and distribution, procurement and supply chain.

Adept at balancing the demands of the customer and the exciting growth of PermaRoof UK, every day for Sam presents a new challenge, requiring patience, pro-activity and people skills in equal measure.

An out-and-out family man devoted to his wife and children, Sam enjoys cooking, football, cricket, and martial arts.

Known for his friendly demeanour and natural diplomacy, he brings positivity to every interaction, making colleagues feel valued, supported and heard.

Marketing Manager

Karla Hall is PermaRoof UK’s effervescent Marketing Manager, steering our social media, brand development and customer communications with her trade mark flair, heart and passion.

With over 25 years’ experience in journalism and copywriting, she works closely with the sales, technical and operational teams to showcase our roofing systems and services in inspirational ways, reflecting PermaRoof’s commitment to quality, innovation and customer care.

Imaginative, adventurous and endlessly fun-loving, Karla thrives on family fun and a constant flow of creativity. When she’s not composing jingles, poetry or crafting a quirky blog post, you’ll find her surfing the wild waves at Newquay’s Fistral Beach or Woolacombe Bay.

A travel writer in her free time, be it cruising or camping, Karla enjoys whipping up engaging content, bringing the beach to the office for the ultimate escapism.

A lover of sunsets, infinity pools and the occasional Pina Colada, Karla is happiest by the sea or better still, in or on it. Mosquitos, sushi and jellyfish? Absolutely not!

Heading up PermaRoof UK’s Customer Resolutions team, Julie Wharton champions the company’s commitment to exceptional service, her pragmatic approach to problem-solving and swift, stress-free solutions make her the ideal point of contact.

Calm, quick-thinking and endlessly helpful, Julie combines polite directness with professional diplomacy, giving customers the confidence that, whatever the issue, it will be resolved efficiently and amicably. From delivery queries and tracking, to order searches, resends and client concerns, Julie has a knack for orchestrating positive outcomes, ensuring every customer experience ends on a high note.

Kind, mischievous and calm under pressure, she sees challenges as opportunities to strengthen relationships, embodying patience, persistence and positivity in every interaction.

Outside of work, Julie relaxes through her love of cruising, embracing the thrill of waking up to a different destination every day, and is also partial to a caramel latte and the occasional Cadbury’s Twirl.

Key Account Manager

Debbie Witty is the Key Account Manager at PermaRoof UK, responsible for managing and supporting our ever-growing nationwide network of stockist retailers.

With over 15 years at the company, Debbie began her career as a receptionist, keen to excel across all areas of the business.

Today, she oversees relationships with more than 500 stockists nationwide, ensuring seamless communication, reliable supply and a top-tier service.

Trusted for her extensive product knowledge and dedicated customer care, Debbie’s sharp wit, sparky personality and approachable nature help sustain the valued partnerships that reflect PermaRoof’s reputation for quality and reliability.

For Debbie, happiness is a stress-free Friday with a glass of wine, jetting off on sun-soaked holidays and rocking her trademark red hair. But Mondays, car bills and maintaining that vivacious red? Not so fun.

Specialist Products Manager

Never a shrinking violet, Specialist Products Manager Lee Moore joined PermaRoof UK in 2024 in the most unique way imaginable – via a viral LinkedIn vent that left him knee-deep in job offers.

What began as a frustrated post about agency work soon whipped up a frenzy of support, earning earnest Lee 120,000 likes and over 100 offers of employment, including one from our duly-impressed Managing Director.

Rising to the challenge, Lee hit the ground running, his energy, drive and determination injecting fresh life into our fast-growing modular division, where he now thrives as our Specialist Products Manager. Tackling every project with the same level of grit, focus and dedication, proud dad Lee says his motivation has always been about keeping a roof over his family’s heads – something that’s a given here at PermaRoof.

Outside of work, thrill-seeker Lee loves rum, rollercoasters, Florida holidays and BBQ-ing enough meat to feed a small army on his Ninja. Once met never forgotten, Lee’s hilariously outspoken and entertaining to a tee, winning over all who meet him with the same outrageous humour that first intrigued the internet.

Commercial Sales Specialist

With 14 years of dedicated PermaRoof service under his belt, Commercial Sales Specialist Paul Stapleton is the go-to person across the business, his in-depth knowledge of every department making him an invaluable asset to the team, and a trusted partner for clients.

Working closely with our industry-leading EPDM partners, Elevate, Paul plays a pivotal role in driving commercial growth, shaping specifications and developing scalable solutions, all while ensuring projects run seamlessly from start to finish.

Renowned for his reliability, versatility and confident can-do attitude, Paul is the colleague people turn to for support, guidance and technical know-how. His expertise, combined with his approachable nature and trademark smile, makes him a respected and much-valued ally.

Outside of work, Paul is a devoted family man who enjoys rolling up his sleeves for DIY projects, retro gaming sessions in his man cave and the occasional competitive FIFA match. He’s also partial to a cheeky car boot hunt, always on the lookout for hidden treasures.

Internal Sales Manager

One of our longest serving team members, Internal Sales Manager Scott Roberts has been an integral part of PermaRoof UK since 2007.

Originally joining to lead the installation team, his carpentry background proved invaluable in overseeing surveying and EPDM roof system installations across residential and commercial projects nationwide.

In 2008, when company focus shifted to supply, Scott moved into sales where he thrives to date, playing a key role in developing PermaRoof’s DIY and Trade portfolio, and expanding its contractor database.

Dedicated to customer growth, Scott works diligently to ensure clients have everything they need to complete projects successfully – and, eighteen years on, he’s still proudly supporting many of the same customers he partnered with at the very start. A shining example of dedication and effort, Scott’s passions are loyalty, hard work and winning.

Away from the office, he enjoys football, golf, hiking and live music, plus counting down the days until his next holiday and the chance to explore exciting new countries. Preferably hot ones, leaving winter behind on the runway.

With over two decades in the construction industry and deep, product-specific expertise, Simon Shouler is our resident guru in the wonderful world of skylight solutions.

Shedding light on what can often feel like a complex process, Simon helps customers make clear, confident choices, his technical know-how and approachable nature making him a trusted partner for trade professionals, commercial clients and homeowners alike.

From first enquiry to sales and aftercare, Simon ensures a truly seamless customer experience, his knowledge spanning the full product spectrum, from aluminium lanterns, flat glass units and polycarbonate domes to smoke vents, access hatches and advanced electrically operated designs.

Backed by a 700,000-strong product portfolio from leading names such as Korniche, Titan, Brett Martin, Skyway, Guardian, Atlas, Sertus, Velux and Fakro, Simon offers clients an unrivalled array of high-quality options, helping them find the perfect fit for every project.

A keen fly fisher, skilled DIY-er and accomplished sharpshooter, he recently travelled to Canada to represent Team Great Britan in his life-long passion, target shooting. In his hard-earned down time, Simon enjoys spending time with his (very patient) wife and their fun-loving twins, who really keep him on his toes!

Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller

Lauren McCarthy is an experienced accounts assistant and credit controller (yes, its Lauren chasing you for the pennies!) who has been an integral part of the PermaRoof team for almost a decade.

From managing day-to-day accounts to overseeing complex credit control processes, Lauren plays a key role in ensuring client satisfaction and safeguarding the company’s financial stability.

With a friendly, thorough approach, she fosters positive client relationships, combining strong organisational skills, dedication and reliability to deliver consistent, dependable support.

Down-to-earth and full of humour, Lauren brings a natural sparkle to every room, connecting effortlessly with family, friends and colleagues alike. Outside work she enjoys family time and adventures with her two (slightly crazy) springer spaniels, who ensure life’s anything but boring!

Inventory Manager

Inventory Manager Alex Haslam joined PermaRoof UK in 2021, calling on his strong inventory background in E-commerce and 3PL logistics to adapt to a diverse and exciting new industry.

Drawn to PermaRoof’s energy and ambition, he slotted effortlessly into the team as Warehouse Supervisor, quickly learning the ropes and memorising the entire product range to progress to Warehouse Deputy Manager before stepping into his current role in 2024.

Today, Alex methodically oversees everything coming in and out of PermaRoof, managing stock integrity, placing orders and ensuring shipments arrive on time to boost operational efficiency and deliver a reliable, streamlined service.

Away from work, he enjoys long country walks with his cockapoo Bentley (often leading the way to his favourite pub), battling it out on Fortnite with his gaming posse, and family holidays to tropical shores – the hotter, the better!

Operations Manager

Wearing many hats across key departments in his 15 years at PermaRoof, Operations Manager Ben Storer has become a foundational figure and a cornerstone of the company’s day-to-day success.

Starting out in the warehouse before progressing through sales and into operations, he’s experienced the company from all angles, gaining hands-on expertise, commercial insight and customer understanding to keep things ticking like clockwork.

Today, Ben oversees safety, warehousing, distribution and facilities, his down-to-earth approach championing teamwork to boost morale and deliver consistently high standards.

Outside the warehouse, Ben is all about family, fishing, football … and as much Xbox gaming with his mates as he can get away with!

Part-Time Receptionist & Sales Support

Bethany Clay has been a valued part of PermaRoof UK’s Reception and Sales Support Team for four years, and is often the first friendly face or cheerful voice our customers encounter.

Responsible for routing calls and ensuring the front desk and trade counter run smoothly with a dash of sunshine, bubbly Beth brings warmth and energy to every interaction, her vibrant nature and quirky humour making her a joy to work alongside.

Whether she’s assisting customers, supporting the Trade Sales team or simply lighting up the office with her infectious laughter and the occasional practical joke, Beth’s courteous, quick to help others and always the life and soul of the party.

Partial to spontaneous trips to far-flung shores and dog walks with her husband, Beth’s motto in life is simple: make the most of every moment.

Sales & Customer Support

The epitome of positivity, Charlotte Caddick brings warmth, energy and 17 years of customer service experience to PermaRoof’s busy Sales and Customer Support team.

Seeing her successful TUI career grounded by the pandemic, Charlotte’s post-covid travels led her PermaRoof in 2020, embarking on an exciting new chapter in the flat roofing industry.

Supporting customers and colleagues with patience and genuine care, Charlotte’s approachable nature, uplifting smile and willingness to help make her a much-loved member of the team.

Outside of work, Charlotte’s world revolves around her partner and her little boy, Jacob – most weekends you’ll find her cheering him on at the boxing club or enjoying a scenic countryside walk.

A self-confessed foodie with passion for cosy restaurants, sweet treats and anything involving cake or chocolate, Charlotte’s recipe for happiness is family, laughter and making time for the little things that matter most.
