PermaRoof UK Commercial has announced the launch of its’ Registered Installer Scheme as part of a pledge to support the roofing industry skills gap. The scheme will provide a registered installer card, designed to track the level of training an installer has reached. This answers the challenge in the specifications process for contractors to provide proof of training.

The PermaRoof Commercial PRI cards have been introduced in three levels – Bronze, Silver and Gold – to support its training courses and are designed to highlight installation competency and offer expertise assurance. Courses are available in RubberTop EPDM, RubberGard EPDM and the PermaRoof 500 liquid waterproofing system at the company’s Derby headquarters.
