Kingwood Developments were the lucky winners in July, entering a complete flat roof replacement.

Here’s how the project went:

Method of works (from Kingwood Developments)

• Full roof strip back and renovation
• Construction of new parapet walls by extending the existing structure
• Installation of upstands to accommodate a stepped glass unit
• Insulation of the hallway area to meet current building regulations
• Updating the roof’s drainage system, altering the fall and creating two custom outlets
• Waterproofing the project for the long-term with EPDM
