AS energy efficiency in residential properties becomes hugely important, industry expert PermaRoof, part of PermaGroup UK, has responded by becoming the main distributor of an innovative and cost-saving new product.

Elevate RESISTA Insulation has been launched as part of a full system for flat roofing that ensures minimal heat loss, keeping buildings warm in winter and cool in summer, and reducing energy bills.

The high-performing insulation is the latest product to be introduced by PermaRoof, as part of its ongoing relationship with Holcim Building Envelope Division, formerly Firestone Building Products. Brought to the market to provide a full branded system, the insulation not only offers the peace of mind that comes with branded products but also responds to customer concerns, with four in ten prospective home buyers citing energy efficiency as a very important buying factor, according to a report from NatWest.

“Cross product use in flat roofing has led to people being left with untraceable, unregulated products – there is no accountability if and when they go wrong. The Elevate full system includes the roof substrate, vapour control layer, EPDM membrane and the all-important insulation, leading to more thorough waterproofing and energy efficiency.”

Chosen as the prime distributor due to its vast customer base, installers can purchase the product directly from PermaRoof or its appointed stockists. The insulation is designed within building regulations and comes with a material warranty of 10 years – providing reassurance to installers, and in turn customers. Its light weight, yet strong, design also allows for future additions such as green roofs and solar panels.
