Get Ready for the Build Show!

Birmingham’s NEC Build Show 2018 promises to be a whopper this year, with industry professionals and exhibitors attending from all over the UK from 9th to 11th October 2018.

The big theme for this years’ show will be Offsite Construction and reflects the industry’s enthusiasm for the latest technologies that have opened up ways of building faster with greater efficiency and standards that have never been seen before in this sector of the construction industry.

There are already hundreds of innovations for offsite construction, and this arena will have the largest number of exhibitors. A programme for the offsite construction seminar sessions is expected to be released before the end of August, in addition to details of the MPBA Theatre, which is being handled and sponsored by the Modular and Portable Building Association (MPBA).

The Build Show three-day event is a part of UK Construction Week, and is one of the largest in the construction industry calendar, offering an opportunity for specialist tradespeople and SMEs to find out more about the latest technologies and products, network with other trades and participate or listen to industry discussions about the hottest topics.

UK Construction Week is an opportunity to air and discuss some of the industry’s hottest topics, and there are planned seminars throughout the three days. TV presenter and architect, George Clarke will be a keynote speaker at the Builders Merchants Federation’s (BMF) Young Merchants Conference as a part of his aim to inspire and encourage the next generation in design and the construction industry.

All construction trades are welcome at the Build Show, and there is something for everyone in every sector from heating specialists to flat roofing contractors.
