How to Join Two Pieces of EPDM. Ensure both pieces of EPDM are fully adhered to the roof deck. Using a 3” or 6” seam tape, lay it down the length of the join and mark both sides with a piece of chalk. Apply QuickPrime Plus primer to the marked area and apply the tape to the join, removing any bubbles with a roller.
