Case Study: P500 Liquid Gives Textbook Finish to East Lothian Roof

The PermaRoof Commercial team, looking to expand operations in Scotland, were happy to be approached by East Lothian roofers, Tait and Mapp for assistance with their project.

The team, led by Sunny Lotay, conducted surveys on the 1970s-era system, which included four, 250m2 roof surfaces, degraded to a critical point. Following the survey and core tests, it became clear that an urgent solution was needed to address multiple issues across all parts of the roof.

Textbook finish with P500

PermaRoof Commercial recommended a combination of Liquid P500 and RubberGard EPDM to provide a seamless approach to waterproofing with high resistance to wind and extreme weather for the long term.

P500, a polyurethane-based liquid membrane, delivers complete waterproofing in a single coat, and with ETA certification for a 25-year life expectancy, it was the perfect choice for performance, longevity and speed of installation.
