Season’s Greetings from PermaRoof UK

This year has flown by and what a year it has been for PermaRoof and the wider PermaGroup. We’ve had an incredible year, despite the nationwide shortages and delays impacting sales targets at the start of the year. These are challenges affecting the entire industry and we’re proud to be forging ahead.

2022 has been a year of exciting changes, new launches and promising opportunities across the board at PermaGroup. We began the year with an influx of new recruits and began making new partnerships straightaway.

Some of the biggest news of 2022

PermaRoof UK Commercial has been working alongside a growing number of PermaRoof Registered Installers. The PRI scheme was launched earlier this year to support the industry-wide skilled worker shortage and smooth compliance for contractors.

Our largest supplier, Firestone Building Products, entered a new chapter of its iconic 40-year existence through its acquisition by leading European construction innovator, Holcim. A rebrand launch recently got underway, with a change from Firestone to Elevate over the EPDM range. PermaRoof, as the Elevate prime UK distributor, fully supports and applauds the move and looks forward to new doors opening for us and our customers.

PermaGroup managing director, Adrian Buttress said, “It was great to be at the launch party for Elevate. Having had the structure explained to us on how it will grow, I am really excited for the future. Great to see some of our co-distributors from all across Europe too.”

“Together we have become a very powerful team. Now we know we are going for the full building envelope, I am now working on our updated growth strategy to encompass all of this. The potential for growth was already huge. Now this has happened, things just got so much bigger.”

We’ve been listening to our customers all year and new products have already begun to appear in the PermaGroup range as a result. RubberGutter SA, the latest in Resista insulation, the launch of our own P500 liquid commercial coatings and other exclusive commercial products. With plans for further innovative systems on the horizon, we’re looking ahead to another good year as we hit the ground running in 2023 for our clients.
