The brief:

Earlier this year, we stepped in to restore the roof of a multi-million-pound family home in Beaconsfield after a faulty installation had left it rapidly deteriorating. The original installation undertaken over five years prior had missed a vital component to prevent sweating, causing the roof to break down over three areas. This meant rectification was urgently required.

We were approached by the architect to deliver a quick and effective solution after the client had had previously had a negative experience with another roofing provider, which had slowed down the process and not resulted in an actionable plan.

The solution:

Once our team of experts met with the architect on-site and gathered the relevant information, we provided our solution by compiling the correct warm roof specification including the AVCL and fixing methods for the three damaged areas. It was a textbook fix.

During the meeting with the architect and contractor to confirm what was to be done, we suggested installers from our PermaRoof Registered Installer scheme, which ensure the project is protected by a warranty and provides on-site support until completion. This gave them every assurance and confidence that we knew what we were doing.
